Is Business Growth the Same as Sales?

When you start a business the main purpose of it should be to attain sales.  Sales happen when you attain customers which results in revenue.

You need customers to grow in order to expand your base and be able to incur revenue and make your business reach higher heights.

Growth enables sales and sales enables growth.  Growth and sales exist together, like peas in a pod, they are essentially the same.  Sales are the measurement of growth and growth means that your business is profitable after all expenses are paid.

When a business is growing you are able to hire more staff, freelancers or agencies which would lead to even further growth because you are then getting the motion from sales.  This is where your resources would have accumulated to fuel even more growth and sales.

So what propels growth and sales?  The jam between this sandwich is marketing where you have to create an awareness and interest in your business before the growth and sales can happen.

This is why content marketing is such a powerful force that propels the two most important reasons for having a business which is enacting growth and sales.
